Today, my mum went for CT scan. so the tumor was actually 5cm instead of 4mm. =.= it's a huge difference leh. sighx
So, the doc had an appointment with my dad this afternoon after the scan. From what i've heard, the doc is offering 2 options. Radiology and Operation.
Radiology offers a 50/50 chance of killing or shrinking the tumor thats in my mother's brain. However, if it fails, the doc said that we will have to turn to operation.
Operation has a 80% chance of success for full recovery, however, there's a 20% chance of complications including infection, side-effects.
The doc didnt recommend which method to us, perhaps is due to the huge responsibility to him. For my opinion, i feel that 80% success rate is considered high. Going for the operation will be a better choice than Radiology for now, as the tumor is too big for it. Plus, have it operated and removed at earlier times might provide a higher chance of recovery.
However, the final decision is still my mum's. So, mummy, no matter wad decision you made, we will respect and support you okays? Jiayous!! Remember: I-M-Possible.
Thats all for today. Gotta sleep early, suffering from blocked nose already. Sighx. Tml have to wake up early again and i m very very tired. But i will push myself go further de!
